Found this quote today in the NYT and it cracked me up. I had to do something with it. But the more I think about it, the truer it becomes. Managing life, finding balance, being present in the here and now, it can be hard to do, especially as a new writer still trying to figure it all out. Maybe that’s not what Mr. Foer meant. Sometimes a guinea pig is just a guinea pig.
